The success of Project Homeless Connect (PHC) Buffalo is due to the on-going dedication of volunteers. We welcome volunteers from every sector of Western New York work together to provide efficient and compassionate service to those in need. Volunteers lead and manage most service areas. The common goal is to provide relevant and easily accessible on-site services for clients while creating a valuable experience for all volunteers.
Interested individuals can register here to volunteer at Project Homeless Connect Buffalo 2019.
Important Event Details
On the day of the event, please enter through the front doors of the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center located at 153 Franklin Street. All volunteer should report to the Volunteer Registration table, located on the left side of the lobby, where you will receive a volunteer T-Shirt and assignments for the day. An orientation and site walk-through will be held for each group of volunteers prior to clients arrival.
We encourage volunteers to dress comfortably as most of our volunteer positions involve standing and/or walking. Registered volunteers will be given event t-shirts at the event to make themselves more recognizable to clients. We encourage volunteers to wear light layers in order to be comfortable throughout the day.

We strongly encourage volunteers to leave any non-essential items i.e. purses, backpacks, etc at home. Volunteers and service provider will have access to the break room but it will not be locked. Please bring only what you can hold/carry on your person. Any items left are at your own risk.
